Murder at the Masquerade
Hosted by Joke House, this comedy murder mystery show at Midway BBQ will provide an immersive dinner theater experience for guests, who will work together to solve the murder. Participants are encouraged to come dressed up or in costume to match the event's theme of a billionaire's masquerade ball.

The two-day event at the Leonard E. Merrell Center will allow young patrons to explore their creativity. Activities include Lego brick building; interacting with characters from shows, comics and games; and buying themed food and items from local vendors.

Free (children under age 3), $10-$30 (individual passes), $30-$100 (family passes)
The city of Katy and Typhoon Texas will host the fifth annual Fourth of July event, featuring live music, skydiving shows, face painters, balloon artists and acrobatic performances. The family-friendly event will end in a fireworks display.
The Katy Parks and Recreation Department will offer snow cones to the community in honor of Park and Recreation Month. The first event is at Katy City Park, and the other two will be July 18 and July 25 at other city parks.
