Katy and Lamar Consolidated ISDs have several ongoing development projects expected to wrap up by 2028. The projects include several schools as well as a career and technology center. This list is not comprehensive.
1. Alma Lemon Slawinski Elementary School
The new LCISD elementary school is slated to open in Fulshear this fall after construction wraps up this summer. Construction, which began in spring 2025, is 70% complete.

2. Brenda Myska Dresner Middle SchoolThe new LCISD middle school is slated to open in the Fulshear area in fall 2027 after construction wraps up in spring 2027. Construction, which began last winter, is 3% complete.
