Rainforest Cafe, a tropical-themed restaurant chain, reopened its doors in April in Katy Mills Mall after a brief closure for renovations.
A closer look
According to an April 24 news release, the cafe closed March 24 for several renovations including:
- A new front entrance with Aztec statues
- Additional lighting and effects
- An LED “night sky” ceiling
- Semi-private Aztec-themed seating area for events, birthdays and group dining
- Changes in bar area theme from mushrooms to Aztec
- Updated booth seating
“Renovations were focused on enhancing the overall guest experience,” Rainforest Cafe officials said in an email. “Rainforest Cafe is a beloved and immersive destination, and this update reflects our commitment to maintaining a high-quality, modern dining environment while preserving the charm and adventure guests know and love.”
