Igloo Coolers officials held a ribbon-cutting June 10 for its new solar array installation at its Katy manufacturing site.
The details
The solar array installation has 7,782 solar panels and is a part of the company's sustainability efforts aimed at reducing grid dependency and strengthening energy security.
“We are thrilled to celebrate this installation with [CLS Sustainable] as we take a step towards more sustainable efforts," said Josh Militello, president of Segment Mobile Cooling at Igloo's parent company Dometic. "Directly through this project, we will lower carbon emissions, energy cost savings and build greater operational resilience.”
