Local nonprofit Clothed by Faith held a ribbon-cutting ceremony May 13 to announce the expansion of its Katy location.

Executive Director Deysi Crespo said the expansion stemmed from increasing donations as the community experiences “an exponential growth” of individuals and families who are in need of clothing.
“The community is very giving, it’s very loving and so we have experienced an influx of donations of clothing and therefore, the need to be able to sort clothing and prepare the bags that are going to those in need is actually what led to us needing additional space,” Crespo said.
