Sept. 30-Oct. 2: 'Evil Dead, The Musical'
The musical is based on Sam Raimi’s 1980s cult classic films. Five college students travel to a wooded cabin and unleash an evil force. Though the production may sound like a work of horror, its songs are funny and campy. 8 p.m. (Sept. 30, Oct. 1). 2 p.m. (Oct. 2). $18 (adults), $15 (students and seniors age 55 and older). $12 (group rate, groups of 10 or more). Oct. 1: Houston NF Walk
A day of games, music, food and activities with superheroes benefits the Children’s Tumor Foundation and honors those with neurofibromatosis (NF). This is the second year for the event. Children’s Tumor Foundation is a nonprofit focused on improving the health and well-being of those affected by NF and their families. Participants who raise $250 or more receive an exclusive NF Walk T-shirt. 9 a.m. $20 (adults). $10 (children age 4 and older). Free (children age 3 and younger). Oct. 1: St. Paul's Fall Festival & Craft Show
