Camp Lone Star, an outdoor Lutheran ministry, opened its second campus in October at 22610 Tuwa Road, Tomball. Known as the Pines Campus, the camp and retreat center offers guests of varied ages venue space for Christian-focused events, including weddings, summer camp and overnight retreats, according to Site Manager Wendy Kaiser.

"Camp Lone Star Pines Campus provides facilities, meals, and recreational activities to allow groups the freedom to relax, retreat, and rest," Kaiser said in an email.

Camp Lone Star's first location is the La Grange Campus, located in La Grange, Texas. 979-968-1657. www.lomt.com/index.html
