IMPACT ROUNDUP: New food trucks debut at 403 Eats in Tomball

Food truck park 403 Eats is located at 403 E. Main St., Tomball. Gretchen and Mike Fagan opened the food truck park in June 2017, which features a changing lineup of food trucks. Gretchen serves as mayor of the city of Tomball.

As of early March, new food trucks and dishes were available to customers.


Marco’s Pepper Grill had its soft opening March 2 and will have a grand opening March 7. The food truck is headed by chef Marcus Flakes, who specializes in Cajun, Creole, Southern and Carribean cuisine. Some dishes include Marco's stuffed pepper; multiple variations of jambalaya; and Rasta Pasta, which includes jerk chicken. 713-331-5226. www.facebook.com/marcusaflakes

Dexter Dogs opened Feb. 26 and is a hotdog truck owned by Gretchen and named after her dog Dexter, she said. Other than hot dogs, Dexter Dogs serves wings, sausage and sauerkraut along with an assortment of sides. 281-330-4538. www.facebook.com/dexter-dogs-109267633897557

Dracula’s Chimney Cakes opened in fall 2019. Dracula’s Chimney Cakes serves sweet chimney cakes, such as chocolate or cinnamon, as well as a panini made out of savory chimney cakes. The business plans to introduce tacos and nachos in March. 832-649-4825. www.facebook.com/pg/draculaschimneycakes
