The annual German Heritage Festival returns to Tomball from March 25-27. There will be vendors, live music, street performers, and food and drink celebrating Tomball’s German roots.

Here is what to know before attending the festival this weekend.

Location, time and date

Where: Downtown Tomball near 201 S. Elm St., Main Street and Market Street near the Tomball Historic Depot Plaza

When: Friday, March 25, from 6-10 p.m.; Saturday, March 26, from 10 a.m.-10 p.m.; and Sunday, March 27, from 10 a.m.-6 p.m.


Admission

Admission into the festival is free. Food and activities may be an additional cost.

Parking and shuttle service

Parking is free and available at four different locations to hop on the shuttle. There is free shuttle service to the festival grounds. The shuttle will pick up and drop off guests at HCA Houston Healthcare Tomball, located at 605 Holderrieth Blvd., Tomball, continuously on Saturday and Sunday. The shuttle runs for an additional 30 minutes after the festival ends on Saturday and Sunday nights.

Tomball Public Works at 501 James St. Attendees may park here, but this is not a shuttle stop.

Festivalgoers can enjoy a wide variety of entertainment, including:

  • More than 150 vendors;

  • German food;

  • Street performers;

  • An open-air market;

  • A Saturday parade;

  • German clothes and souvenirs for sale;

  • A heritage center;

  • Cloggers; and

  • A carnival
