Higher Grounds Coffee Co., 415 Magnolia Blvd., opened May 20 in Magnolia. The mobile coffee trailer serves iced coffee, hot specialty drinks, lattes, frappes, cold brew, matcha, and tea and lemonade. The menu also includes baked goods, including muffins and danishes, provided by a farm-to-market maker.

Husband and wife Brandon and Jessica Acosta decided to bring the services to the community after hearing a message from God.

"God spoke to my wife in a dream," Brandon Acosta said. "We have a 2-year-old daughter, and I was traveling for work, so we wanted to do something to spend time as a family and to honor God. As a husband, I wanted to make sure that we were taking care of our family and being able to make an impact in our community, spread the word of Christ and build relationships—that's our goal. It's an extension of our ministry."

Brandon said a portion of the proceeds, including the sale of pup cups, are donated to local churches and animal shelters.
