Jinxie Peruzzi, mother of eight children and business owner of The Caffeine Collective and Buddy and Sis Co., said she founded her own coffee shop to offer a community space for other mothers to feel welcome and at ease in a family-friendly environment.
“Coming from a space where I have eight kids, there are times when we walk into establishments and people sigh or roll their eyes because there's so many kids, and unfortunately, people have preconceived notions about you and your family,” Peruzzi said. “And so I wanted to create a space where moms could come as they want to, drink coffee and where kids are welcome.”

Staying local
Founded as a low-risk storefront for her clothing business Buddy and Sis Co. where she offers organic children’s clothing, as well as other women-owned businesses, The Caffeine Collective offers coffee, a community space and a shopping experience where customers can support locals.
“I decided to bring in as many women-owned businesses as I could to create a low-risk storefront opportunity for them,” Peruzzi said.
Local businesses housed at The Caffeine Collective include The Local Flower Junkie, Honor Skin and Body and Dough Mama.
A resident herself, Peruzzi said though the construction on Tamina Road has been going on since she founded The Caffeine Collective in March 2024, the coffee shop is known by locals for its laid-back ambiance and unique flavors of coffee.
“I liked the idea of building community around coffee because [coffee shops] give you the opportunity to create community, and so I love that aspect of it,” Peruzzi said.

On the menu
Along with several coffee classics offered, including the Americano, mocha and cappuccino, Peruzzi said her favorite part of the cafe is creating unique coffee recipes seasonally.
Seasonal coffee options offered most recently include the raspberry rose latte, hazelnut honey latte and a variety of matcha-inspired drinks. Peruzzi said the banana bread latte is a seasonal coffee option that was so requested, it has been added to the cafe's permanent menu.
In addition to its regular coffees, the cafe is most known for its buckets of coffee—34 ounces of coffee—and its coffee flights consisting of four mini surprise coffee options for customers who want to try a variety of unique flavors.
