MUMtastic Homecoming Store will open in a new storefront in Magnolia on Sept. 19, business owner Jennifer McDaniel Deaton said.

The seasonal shop specializes in customized homecoming mums, garters and other school spirit items for schools across the Greater Houston area. Customers can visit the shop's storefront location at 6960 FM 1488, Ste. 113, Magnolia, or shop online.

According to Deaton, customer demand to keep school spirit this homecoming season despite the uncertainties of the coronavirus pandemic inspired the shop to open for its fifth year of business.

"We were not going to open this year, but our phones started ringing off the wall [by] mostly seniors because it's their senior year and whether or not there's homecoming they want homecoming mums," Deaton said.

Following the delay of the high school football season due to COVID-19, MUMtastic Homecoming Store also pushed back the storefront's opening date. 281-665-0082. https://mumtasticspirit.com
