The Woodlands Township announced in a news release offices will be closed Jan. 16.
Other township facilities will also be closed Tuesday, Jan. 16, including:
- Riva Row Boat House
- Lakes Edge Boat House
- Texas TreeVentures
- The Recreation Center at Bear Branch Park
- The Recreation Center at Rob Fleming Park

The Woodlands Township announced several closures affecting trash and trolley services due to cold weather on Jan. 15.
What residents need to know
According to a news release sent Jan. 15, the township canceled trolley services for the rest of the day. Additional updates will be provided on the township website as they become available and will be updated here.
The Woodlands Express is also running additional routes on Jan. 15 between Houston and the township to accommodate residents leaving work early and reduce traffic as weather conditions were expected to continue to worsen, according to the release.
What else?
Waste Management has also paused collections for the rest of the day on Jan. 15. According to the release, WM will monitor road conditions to restart curbside collection when it is able to do so, and it will expand its routes as more streets become safe.
Officials with Conroe, Tomball and Magnolia ISDs all announced school will be closed on Tuesday, Jan. 16.
