Nonprofits and other organizations in The Woodlands area are gathering resources to support families in the holiday season. Here are a few ways residents can donate or otherwise provide support through the end of the year through food, toy and other donations. This list is not comprehensive.

Interfaith of The Woodlands

The nonprofit offers several ways for community members to help local families. The nonprofit offers several ways for community members to help local families, including an Adopt-a-Family program to provide requested holiday gifts for children and through a Holiday Toy Drive. New, unwrapped toys will be distributed by Interfaith, and parents will select gifts for their children. Dropoff locations include Interfaith of The Woodlands, the eight local fire stations, the Montgomery County Precinct 3 Commissioner's office, the Kevin Brady Community Center and Library, and Spring Creek Greenway Nature Center. San Jacinto River Authority Food Drive


The SJRA will have a public donation site for the community to participate in Montgomery County Food Bank's food drive. Dropoffs are accepted at the lobby of SJRA's Woodlands Division during business hours.

Harley-Davidson Toy Drive

Harley Owners Group has partnered with Toys for Tots and The Woodlands Harley-Davidson to host a holiday toy drive. Donations can be dropped off at Toys for Tots’ boxes set up at The Woodlands Harley-Davidson.

Conroe ISD Police Toy Drive

Conroe ISD Police Department is holding its 24th annual toy drive at 40 designated locations within the district. The drive has donated gifts to more than 9,000 children in the past 10 years.

  • Donations can be dropped off at designated sites at schools and departments in the district, and participants can email the district for specific locations.

Giving Machines

The seasonal machines allow residents to donate to area nonprofits by purchasing items through the specialty vending machines, according to a news release. The machines are part of The Church of Latter-day Saints’ “Light the World” initiative, according to the release, and 100% of the contributions go toward the selected nonprofits. The Woodlands machines will be open through Jan. 3.
