A local Marine opened his krav maga school, Condition 1 Combat Center, on June 29 at 606 Rayford Road, Ste. A, Spring.

According to a news release, Joe Morris' martial arts school teaches is a fight-centric form of krav maga that incorporates multiple mixed martial arts disciplines, such as muay thai, jiujitsu and wrestling, for all ages. Morris opened the school with his wife and co-owner Vithyea Morris.

The release states Joe is a second-degree krav maga black belt and has been training in krav maga since 2008. He is also a decorated Marine combat veteran who conducted combat operations missions in Iraq and other countries from 2003-06.
