Local candy store The Candy House, located at 27160 Glen Loch Drive, The Woodlands, reopened Sept. 1 under new ownership .

Five area locals, Kristen and Reed Watson, Courtney and Danny Moore and Wanda Graham came together to reopen the business after previous owner, Don Baker, died in January.

Watson said she and the other owners want to run the business "in a way that would make Baker proud." An official website for the business is under construction. 281-367-0564.
