Several services in The Woodlands Township are canceled Feb. 4 due to inclement weather, and others will operate with at least a delayed start depending on weather conditions in the morning, according to a township news release.

The Woodlands Express park and ride service is canceled for Feb. 4, according to a township news release, and the The Town Center Trolley Service is suspended but expected to resume at 11 a.m. Feb. 4, depending on weather conditions.

The Woodlands Township offices, including Town Hall at 2801 Technology Forest Blvd. and the recreational centers were expected to open at 10 a.m. Feb. 4, but that time could be changed depending on weather conditions in the morning. The Woodlands' two boat houses are also closed Feb. 4. Updates will be available at www.rivarowboathouse.com.

According to the township, Waste Management services may experience delays on Friday, but will complete routes on Feb. 5 not completed on Feb. 4. Residents are advised to leave carts at the curb until service has occurred. Residents can contact Waste Management at 800-800-5804 or email [email protected] if service is not completed within 24 hours of the end of the regular service day, according to a news release.



Township officials said The Woodlands Fire Department will be staffed and prepared for emergencies.
