'The Artistic Legacy of Michael Frary: A Texas Modernist'

An exhibit of the work of Michael Frary will be on display throughout December and into January. Artwork from members of The Woodlands Art League will also be displayed.Art in The Woods

Ardest Gallery, a local fine arts gallery, is holding an art market known as Art in The Woods. The market started Oct. 21 and will be held every third Saturday each month through April. The art market offers local artists an ongoing platform to showcase their works to local residents. A basketball camp will be held by Villa Sport Athletic Camp and Spa for students ages 5-12 interested in learning how to shoot, dribble, pass and run a basketball while learning teamwork skills as well as individual skill building through the rules of basketball.

Worldwide Hunting Expo & Convention


The Houston Safari Club Foundation will host its 2024 Worldwide Hunting Expo & Convention, themed “The Road Less Traveled.” The convention will be a three-day gathering for outdoor enthusiasts from around the world. There will be hundreds of exhibits, a fundraising banquet, auctions, raffles and entertainment. The event proceeds will help fulfill HSCF’s mission of preserving the sport of hunting through education, conservation and the promotion of its hunting heritage.
