'The Artistic Legacy of Michael Frary: A Texas Modernist'

Ardest Gallery, a local fine arts gallery, is holding an art market known as Art in The Woods. The market started Oct. 21 and will be held every third Saturday each month through April. The art market offers local artists an ongoing platform to showcase their works to local residents. Visitors can expect to see a variety of mediums, styles and price points throughout the market.

The Houston Safari Club Foundation will host its 2024 Worldwide Hunting Expo & Convention, themed “The Road Less Traveled.” The convention will be a three-day gathering for outdoor enthusiasts from around the world. There will be hundreds of exhibits, a fundraising banquet, auctions, raffles and entertainment. The event proceeds will help fulfill HSCF’s mission of preserving the sport of hunting through education, conservation and the promotion of its hunting heritage.
