Free COVID-19 testing site to open at Sterling Ridge Park and Ride in The Woodlands this week

Montgomery County will operate a new COVID-19 testing site in The Woodlands this week. (Community Impact Newspaper staff)

A new COVID-19 testing site will operate in The Woodlands through the end of this week, the Montgomery County Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Management announced.

The site at the Sterling Ridge Park and Ride, located at 8001 McBeth Way, The Woodlands, will be open Aug. 11-14 from 8 a.m.-4 p.m. According to the county, registration may be completed at the site, and a valid form of identification is required to be tested.


County residents may also register for a free COVID-19 test at several sites countywide through the Montgomery County Public Health District and Montgomery County Hospital District testing voucher program, either by calling 936-523-3916 or by completing an online application.
