In an April 3 news release, Howard Hughes announced SUNA–a Turkish fitness studio concept–will be opening within the renovated Grogan's Mill Village Center in the early fall.

The details

According to the release, the studio is being opened by The Woodlands area resident Lorenza Gonzalez, and it aims to provide a calming environment for clients.

“Grogan’s Mill remains a calming place for me; it has so much potential to bring people together, and I want SUNA Studio to be part of that,” Gonzalez said.

According to the news release, the studio will offer infrared heating rooms and multiple workout plans to meet personalized fitness needs while also being a community center for residents, providing strength training and barre classes–an exercise routine which borrows concepts from ballet.

In their words

"From living in The Woodlands and my upbringing, exercise has become part of me," Gonzalez said. “The Woodlands is a very fitness-oriented place to live, and I want SUNA Studio to offer a way for people to slow down and connect with their body and soul while working out.”
