The paint-your-own pottery studio Color Me Mine offers parties and walk-in options for customers to paint and fire pottery. A variety of designs are available for adults and children. Workshops and classes will also be available at the location.Best Brains Learning Center

Adriatic Cafe


The Italian restaurant built a new 6,086-square-foot location marking the restaurant’s fifth location. The restaurant serves specialty pizzas, pasta dishes, sandwiches, calzones and gluten-free options. The restaurant also has locations in Jersey Village, Tomball, Spring and Katy. The restaurant was scheduled for an inspection April 4 and expected to open shortly thereafter, owners said in an April 1 email.Kids R Kids Learning Academy

The learning academy is slated to open April 15, owner Kevin Kilgore said in an email. The facility offers programs and curricula for children ages 6 weeks to 12 years of age, according to the company. Diamonds Direct, a jewelry store, has construction plans for a new storefront located in Wood Ridge Plaza. According to information from the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation, the construction renovation on the new location is slated to be concluded April 15. Diamonds Direct specializes in fine jewelry including diamonds, engagement rings, wedding bands and watches, according to the website.
