Fewer homes were sold in Sugar Land- and Missouri City-area ZIP codes in September compared to September 2024, with 225 homes sold versus 252 last year, according to data from CB&A Realtors.

What residents need to know

Data shows that four of five local ZIP codes saw fewer home sales year over year, with ZIP code 77489 seeing the largest percentage decrease in sales at 32.35%.

Of the five ZIP codes, only 77459 saw an increase, which was 2.27%.
Meanwhile, of the total 225 homes sold, homes in the $200,000-$399,999 price range sold the most frequently, with 102 homes sold.

Additionally, the median home sale price decreased in three of five local ZIP codes year over year, according to the data. ZIP code 77479 had the highest median home sales prices among ZIP codes, at $523,500.

The average number of days homes spent on the market increased in three of five ZIP codes, with ZIP code 77489 seeing the largest percentage increase at 59.52%.

Homes in 77498 spent the longest on average among the ZIP codes, with 107 days on the market for the 31 homes sold, according to the data.
