Filli Cafe, a brand known for its Zafran tea, coffee, mocktails and its homely ambience, is eyeing a mid-March opening at a new Sugar Land location, 11920 S. Hwy. 6, Ste. 600, Sugar Land, the store’s ownership said to Community Impact Newspaper.
Filli comes to Sugar Land after its success throughout its 23 cafes in the United Arab Emirates, along with locations worldwide including the United Kingdom, according to the cafe website.
The cafe will feature snacks including Punjab samosas and chaat, paratha, along with American offerings such as loaded fries, nachos, burgers and hotdogs, and pizza. Beverages include Filli’s signature tea, Zafran tea, herbal tea, classic milkshakes, mocktails, fresh juices, and iced and hot coffee, according to the cafe website.
Filli Cafe is the brainchild of Rafih Filli, who opened the first cafe when he was 21, selling the brand’s signature tea to Emirati customers in Dubai’s tourist hotspot AlMamzar Corniche, according to the cafe website. www.fillicafetexas.com
