Mattison Avenue Salon Suites & Spa has opened a second-floor location at 2181 Texas Drive, Sugar Land, in Sugar Land Town Square.

With 11,000 square feet and 50 furnished suites, the upscale salon leases space to independent beauty contractors, such as hairstylists, aestheticians, massage therapists, makeup artists and nail technicians.

While the salon had its first tenants move in in early January, the business was closed from March 27-May 8, per Gov. Greg Abbott's coronavirus orders. Since then, 25 suites have been leased, and many providers are serving customers.

The Sugar Land location is the first of four Mattison Avenue locations planned for the Houston area. The Dallas-based business has 12 locations in Dallas-Fort Worth and two in Tampa Bay, Florida. 281-907-3294. www.mattisonsalonsuites.com
