With the flu season underway and the holiday season not far behind, Houston Methodist Sugar Land Hospital—in partnership with the Exchange and Rotary Clubs and Toys for Tots—is hosting a drive-thru event Oct. 10 from 8-11 a.m at which area residents can donate a unwrapped toy in exchange for a free flu shot.
The event will take place in front of the Cancer Center at 16675 Hwy. 59, Sugar Land.
No appointments are necessary, but participants are asked to remain in their cars and wear a face mask at all times. One flu shot is available to adults age 18 and older per donated non-stuffed animal or clothing gift.
