Looking for festivities to celebrate this fall? Here are eight community events in the Sugar Land-Missouri City area from Oct. 18 to Nov. 8. This list is not comprehensive, and events are subject to change.

Elkins Band & Guard Community Bash

The Elkins High School Band and Guard is hosting its first community bash to prepare for the University Interscholastic League area competition. The bash will feature a live performance, carnival games and a chance to win prizes through an auction and raffle.

Magical Maze Festival

The Houston Museum of Natural Science at Sugar Land is hosting this Halloween festival, offering face painting, carnival games, trick-or-treating and other fun.

Tricks & Treats in the Park

Residents of all ages in Missouri City can put on a costume and enjoy a pumpkin patch, photo station, candy and games at Buffalo Run Park.

Filipino Street Festival

Hosted by the Filipino Young Professionals of Houston, this year’s Filipino Street Festival at Constellation Field features cultural performances, tasty food, live music and raffle prizes.

2nd Annual Missouri City Fall Festival

Missouri City Chamber of Commerce is hosting its second annual fall festival at Hunters Glen Park, where attendees can participate in arts and crafts, a chili cook-off and games, along with other seasonal activities.

Fall-O-Ween

The Halloween festival hosted by First Colony Mall will feature indoor trick-or-treating and outdoor festivities, such as mini pumpkin decorating and candied apple creations.

Día de los Muertos

An artisan market, authentic cuisine and live performances from mariachis, Ballet Folklórico and Aztec dancers will be offered at the community celebration held in Sugar Land Town Square.

A Country Affair Fall Festival

First United Methodist Church’s annual fall festival will feature a crafts marketplace, food trucks, homemade treats and a silent auction to raise money for community programs.
