Fort Bend County Health and Human Services confirmed 77 new cases of the coronavirus from June 27-29, with 71 cases reported June 27 and six cases reported June 29. The county also confirmed its 53rd coronavirus-related death.

The new cases bring the county's total coronavirus count to 3,722. With 1,298 reported recoveries and 53 deaths, there are 2,347 active cases.

According to data from the Southeast Texas Regional Advisory Council, 56 patients are being treated for suspected or confirmed cases of the coronavirus in Fort Bend County hospital intensive care units, and another 136 people are being treated for the virus in Fort Bend County general hospital beds.

Fort Bend County has not updated its maps that show in which cities and ZIP codes coronavirus cases are located.
