PNC Bank officials plan to open 15 new locations across the Greater Houston area through 2028.

The big picture

The move is part of the company’s plan to open more than 100 new locations in the U.S. by the same year, including in Austin, North Texas and San Antonio, according to a Feb. 14 news release from PNC. Additionally, the company will renovate more than 1,200 existing locations.

The $1 billion investment will add to the company’s roughly 2,300 brick-and-mortar branches countrywide, according to the release.

PNC Bank locations offer various services, including retail and business banking, lending products, and wealth and asset management, according to the release.

A PNC Bank spokesperson said in an email the locations of the 15 Houston branches are still being finalized and will be shared at a later date.
