Hufsmith-Kohrville Road, Segment 2

Project: This project will widen Hufsmith-Kohrville Road from a two-lane asphalt roadway to a four-lane concrete boulevard with storm sewer and sidewalk from south of Rolling Glen Lane to north of Ezekiel Road. The project aims to improve safety, increase capacity for vehicular travel, add safety and capacity for pedestrian mobility, and increase efficiency for drainage.

Update: Construction on this project is scheduled to begin in late February, according to a Jan. 5 email from Jeannie Peng, communications manager for Harris County Precinct 3.Treaschwig Road, Segment 1A


Project: This project will widen Treaschwig Road from a two-lane asphalt roadway to a four-lane concrete boulevard with storm sewer and sidewalk from west of Aldine-Westfield Road to west of Cypress Creek. The project aims to improve safety, increase capacity for vehicular travel, add safety and capacity for pedestrian mobility, and increase efficiency for drainage.

Update: As of Jan. 5, Peng said construction on this project is scheduled to begin in March.

Recently completed

Kuykendahl Road repaving

Project:
This project repaved Kuykendahl Road between north of Spring Cypress Road and north of FM 1960. The project included asphalt reconstruction, new markings and street signs along the road segment. The project aims to increase safety and mobility.


Update: As of Jan. 5, Peng said this project had been completed.
