TOPS Surgical Specialty Hospital named Grant Magness as the Spring-area hospital's new CEO in an April 23 press release.

According to the release, Magness previously served as administrator of Memorial Hermann Surgery Center Greater Heights and Memorial Hermann Endoscopy Center North Loop. Throughout his tenure in the health care industry, Magness has also held the position of CEO for a transitioning hospital in Yakima, Washington, and has served in various leadership roles at regional Texas medical centers in Tomball and Brownwood.

Magness holds a master's degree in health care administration from Trinity University in San Antonio.

According to the release, Magness is focused on leading a team with a deep strategic focus on quality, patient experience, operations and growth. In his role as CEO of TOPS Surgical Specialty Hospital, Magness will also oversee the TOPS Comprehensive Breast Centers located in Spring, Houston, The Woodlands and Kingwood.
