Owned by Gabriela De Coss, the early education center offers programs for children 2 months old to 6 years old including full- and part-time day care, pre-K, bilingual kindergarten, Spanish and English immersion, mother's day out, and drop-in and after-school programs. De Coss said the academy also boasts flexible schedules to help working parents; small student groups; and certified, experienced teachers.

"I started small, but I had determination [and] eventually, I was able to open the child care [center] and preschool I have now," De Coss said. "My vision came to life. There is still a long way to go, but for now, just being able to help teach children is what makes my academy accomplished."

Language Arts Academy also offers summer camp for children ages 2-10. 832-458-2300 or 832-422-3105. www.languageartsacademy.com
