First Tech Federal Credit Union plans to open this summer in CityPlace at Springwoods Village, located at 1701 City Plaza Drive, Spring. Based in San Jose, California, the nearly 70-year-old financial institution will occupy a 2,188-square-foot space on the ground floor of a 10-story building that currently houses Island Grill, Edward Jones and The American Bureau of Shipping.

"We look forward to welcoming the nation's premier credit union catering to global leaders in technology, including two that call the CityPlace/Springwoods Village community home: HP Inc. and Hewlett Packard Enterprise," said Robert Fields, president and CEO of Patrinely Group, in a statement.

The credit union offers a full range of financial services including traditional and online banking, mortgages, financial planning, various consumer loans and insurance services. www.firsttechfed.com
