The Bridgestone Municipal Utility District and Harris County Precinct 4 Constable’s Office will celebrate the grand opening of a new shared space with a ribbon-cutting ceremony Feb. 29 from 10 a.m.-noon. Located at 19720 Kuykendahl Road, Spring, the Harris County Bridgestone MUD substation will serve as a new administration facility for the Bridgestone MUD, a ninth substation for the Harris County Precinct 4 Constable’s Office and include a water education center.

As previously reported by Community Impact Newspaper, officials broke ground on the project in April. The facility has a building occupancy of 218 people, 112 parking spaces and 22 secure parking spaces. The venue also includes a general assembly space that can be divided into three rooms with partitions.

The family-friendly event will allow residents to interact with department personnel, view equipment such as high-water rescue trucks and patrol vehicles, and includes light refreshments. 281-651-0861. www.wdmtexas.com/districts-served/bridgestone-mud
