Calderas Counseling, located at 8900 Eastloch Drive, Ste. 110F, Spring, celebrates its first anniversary Feb. 9. The center provides mental health services for individuals and couples and specializes in working with adolescents experiencing depression, anxiety, stress or low self-esteem; feeling lost or wanting to make a positive change in their life.

Last fall, Calderas Counseling added Erin Boehme, a mental health therapist who specializes in trauma, to its team of therapists. Boehme is accepting new clients, including teens, adults and couples.

“My specialties include trauma treatment, anxiety and depression,” Boehme said. “I work from a variety of techniques pulling from person-centered cognitive behavioral therapy; Polyvagal theory; EMDR; and psychodynamic theories to help meet the client’s individual needs. My goals are the client’s goals.”

Therapists may provide support, problem-solving skills and enhanced coping strategies for various issues, according to Calderas Counseling. 346-314-0022. www.calderascounseling.com
