As of July 31, 3,173 cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed across nine Spring- and Klein-area ZIP codes, according to data reported by Harris County Public Health. This number has increased by 72 cases since July 30 and includes 1,241 active cases, 1,897 recoveries and 35 deaths.
Since July 10, the 77090 ZIP code has reported a total of five deaths from COVID-19, however July 21 data reported one less death. Community Impact Newspaper has reached out to Harris County Public Health and the City of Houston Health Department on why the 77090 ZIP code has one less death than what was reported prior to July 21.
As of July 31, Harris County Public Health reported a total of 72,964 confirmed cases in Harris County–including 48,260 active cases, 23,974 recoveries and 729 deaths. Comprehensive data for Harris County can be found here.
