The Cypress Creek Foundation for the Arts and Community Enrichment will return for its 27th season starting Sept. 12 in prominent venues across Spring, according to a June 12 news release.

Performances in the Star-Lit! Series will begin at 7:30 p.m. and will be split into two locations: The Centrum and Spring ISD’s Geiger Performing Arts Center at Westfield High School. Nanci Decker, executive director of Cypress Creek FACE, said the decision to move some of the performances from The Centrum was due to sound issues experienced last year.

“[The Centrum]’s a beautiful space, and we love presenting there, but not all artists fit in the acoustical hall,” Decker said in a statement. “Our patron comfort is foremost in our thoughts.”
