Frost Bank is coming to Friendswood in the fourth quarter of 2022 or the first quarter of 2023, according to Mark Anton, Frost Bank community leader.

Groundbreaking for the new financial center took place June 22, featuring guests Friendswood Mayor Mike Foreman and Friendswood City Council members Trish Hanks and Sally Branson.

“We are just thrilled that the expansion of Friendswood is continuing with commercial growth like Frost Bank,” Foreman said. “For one thing, we were sort of all tired of seeing this old house that used to sit on this property.”

David LePori, Frost Bank Houston regional president, said in the past three years the bank opened over 25 new financial centers in the region as part of an expansion.

“We're excited about what the future holds for us here as we've embarked on our second round of expansion for the greater Houston metropolitan area,” LePori said.
