Pearland BMX Open House

BMX Racing League and Pearland BMX invites beginners to try the alternative sport, tour the facility and test the track with no obligation. The racing league is for kids ages 4-15 and parents, and offers loaner bikes and helmets at no cost. Guests must reserve a spot before attending.Mayor Kevin Cole's Benefit Golf Tournament

Pearland Mayor Kevin Cole hosts this fundraising tournament to benefit the Forever Parks Foundation of Pearland and the mayor’s mission to open a second all-abilities park. Proceeds from the first and second annual event helped to open Ed Thompson Inclusive Park in April 2023. Now, the objective is to bring an inclusive playground to Independence Park.Concierto Inolvidable with La Mafia

This “unforgettable” live outdoor concert at Independence Park will feature local band La Mafia alongside David Lee Garza y Los Musicales, Marcos Orosco, Iconiczz, Alicia Cintron and DJ Double O. Keep Pearland Beautiful will host this first-ever fashion show that repurposes materials to create new and innovative looks. Held at the Knights of Columbus venue on Hatfield Road, designers will demonstrate trendy and environmentally-friendly fashions while guests enjoy live music, food and drinks.

Heritage Gardeners Spring Plant Sale

This two-day event at the plant group’s clubhouse features an outdoor spring market and guest speakers who will teach gardening enthusiasts about planting fruit trees in their backyards and growing plumeria. It coincides with the group’s annual spring garden tour, where guests can stroll through four privately owned Friendswood gardens.Sunday Funday Skate: Party with a Purpose

The Omicron Gamma Zeta Chapter of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority invites family, friends and Webster-area community members to roller skate at Fun City Sk8 & Play, and donate food and hygiene products to New Faith Church and the Pearland Neighborhood Center. Participants must sign a waiver before skating.
