Here’s what you need to know if you’re interested in registering:

Alvin ISD

Open enrollment for the 2024-25 school year for pre-K and kindergarten began on April 15, according to the district’s website. Multiple documents are required to be uploaded through an online portal. Directions to begin registration online can be found on the district’s enrollment section of its website.


The following documents are required to be uploaded for online registration:
  • Birth certificate
  • Social Security card
  • Immunization record
  • Two proofs of residency in AISD
  • Last report card or withdrawal form from previous school district
  • Parent/guardian identification
Enrollment grades 1-12 for the 2024-25 school year will begin on June 17 at the Central Enrollment Center. The online enrollment application and appointment link will be available June 3, according to the district’s website.

Friendswood ISD

Open enrollment for the 2024-25 school year for all grade levels began on April 15, according to an April 14 news release from the district.

According to the district’s website, multiple documents are required to be uploaded through an online portal. Directions to register online can be found on the district’s enrollment section of its website.


The following documents are required to be uploaded for online registration:
  • Proof of residence
  • Proof of ownership
  • State-issued birth certificate
  • Child's Social Security card
  • Child's immunization record
  • Parent's photo identification
  • Other school records
Pearland ISD

Open enrollment for the 2024-25 school year for pre-K and kindergarten began on March 25, according to the district’s website. Multiple documents are required to be uploaded through an online portal. Directions to register online can be found on the district’s enrollment section of its website.

The following documents are required to be uploaded for online registration:
  • Deed or current home lease in parent’s name
  • Current utility bill with correct address of residence in parent’s name
  • Photo identification of parent enrolling student
  • Birth certificate showing parent enrolling student named as parent
  • Immunization record
  • Child’s Social Security card
New student enrollment for first through 12th grade will not be open until July, according to the district’s website.
