In Pearland, two positions are on the ballot for the City Council election. For Position 2, incumbent Tony Carbone is running unopposed. For Position 4, incumbent Adrian Hernandez is running against Jeff Hunkele.
In Friendswood, three positions are up for election: mayor and council positions 1 and 3. None are contested races.
Incumbent Mike Foreman is the sole mayoral candidate, and incumbents Steve Rockey and Trish Hanks are running for re-election to their own chairs.
On March 1, Friendswood City Council meeting will considering canceling the May election and deem Foreman, Rockey and Hanks re-elected.
