A new preschool and daycare will open near Shadow Creek Ranch, according to a filing with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation.

About the project

According to the filing, construction for the project will begin in February and is expected to be completed in August. The facility is a short commute from Pearland Town Center, and the new build is estimated to cost around $895,000.

What they offer

With locations across the globe, Kido has enrolled more than 15,000 students since 2014. The school combines the teaching philosophies of Maria Montessori and Reggio Emilia with the latest research, according to the company’s website.

The Pearland location will span 11,500 square feet and have a large partially covered outdoor playground along with two all-weather indoor play areas. The new location will also offer a daily Spanish immersion program included in the English language curriculum, according to the website.

Parents can enroll children from the ages of six weeks and five years.
