The National Weather Service warned Greater Houston area residents of a strong line of storms headed through the area on Monday morning.

At 7 a.m. the Texas Department of Transportation listed SH 288 Northbound at Hwy. 610 as a high water location with the left shoulder, left lane and exit ramp affected.

By 7:45 a.m., the National Weather service had canceled the flash flood watch in place, however still warned of light to moderate rainfall throughout the day.
