1. Grand Parkway exit, entrance ramps in New Caney
Project: Montgomery County will be working with the Texas Department of Transportation to build a one-lane westbound exit ramp and a one-lane eastbound entrance ramp to connect the Grand Parkway’s main lanes and frontage roads, according to July 29 Montgomery County Commissioners Court meeting documents. These ramps will be located along the Grand Parkway’s Segment G between where the roadway intersects with Valley Ranch Parkway and Hwy. 59.
Update: Montgomery County Commissioners Court approved an advance funding agreement for the project under the July 29 meeting’s consent agenda, which is made up of multiple items voted on in one motion.
In February, commissioners also approved an advanced funding agreement with TxDOT for the project, but without specific funding amounts, as previously reported by Community Impact.

Project: FM 1485 is being resurfaced, including repairing the road base, adding new asphalt overlay and restriping. The project runs between FM 1485's intersections with Old Houston Road and Kidd Cemetery Road.
