Lenny’s Grill & Subs is now open in Porter. The restaurant offers a variety of hand-crafted sandwiches, wraps, soups, cheesesteaks and salads.Nate's Diner is now serving classic American diner fare in Porter. Nate's Diner serves all-day breakfast with options ranging from pancakes and waffles to omelets and crepes. Non-breakfast options such as burgers, sandwiches and salads are also on the menu, as well as dinner plates such as Marsha's Meatloaf and fried pork chops.Cupid Confections, a bakery and frozen dessert shop owned by Angela Hutson, is now open in New Caney. The shop boasts a menu of cookie cakes, brownies, crispy rice treats and snow cones.Fur-Vana Mobile Pet Spa is now fully operational, offering mobile grooming services for dogs and cats. Fur-Vana offers curbside services at customers’ homes in East Montgomery County as well as in the Lake Houston area.The Elotito Stop is now open in Porter. Frescas con crema, ice cream, mini pancakes and nachos are some of the staple menu items at the food truck.Appian Deli, a convenience store and deli, is now open in Roman Forest. The deli serves dishes including egg sandwiches, pancakes, burritos, fajita plates and sandwiches.

Tension Steel Corporation USA will be opening a facility in the East Montgomery County Industrial Park. Tension Steel’s new facility will manufacture and process oil and gas industry pipes.
