Big Rivers Waterpark and Adventures in New Caney is opening the for fall season with Aquatoberfest from Oct. 2-Nov. 21.

Throughout the event, the cost of day passes will be reduced from $24.99 to $14.99, officials said in a Sept. 21 news release.

Located at 23101 Hwy. 242, Big Rivers Waterpark and Adventures features a variety of attractions for all ages, including water slides, a wave pool, rock climbing, a forest maze, ax throwing and a large aquatic obstacle course.

“Big Rivers Waterpark and Adventures is all about providing positive family experiences,” said Carl Foy, Big Rivers Waterpark and Adventures marketing director, in a news release. “Big Rivers is a unique family outing with something for everyone, from holding an alligator to flying around on zip lines.”

Big River Waterpark and Adventures will be open from 11 a.m.-5 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays throughout the nearly two-month event.
