The roadway is being expanded to four lanes between the northern entrance of the Walmart Supercenter and where the road bends west toward Hwy. 59. The road will accommodate traffic from the new Townsen Boulevard Middle School. The school will open in August. The project is a collaboration between Aldine ISD and the city of Humble.
