A Courtyard by Marriott Houston Northeast hotel will open in June at 250 Assay St., Houston, in Generation Park, according to Ian Adler, director of marketing for McCord Development. The five-story hotel will feature 144 rooms, some of which will have balconies; a fitness center; a swimming pool; event rooms; workspaces; and a bistro featuring American-style fare, signature cocktails, wine, beer and Starbucks coffee, according to Courtyard by Marriott officials.

The hotel was slated to open in March or April, but the opening was delayed to this summer due to inclement weather as well as labor and supply shortages due to the COVID-19 pandemic, according to hotel officials. 713-860-3000. www.generationpark.com
