On April 22, Humble City Council approved a $321,000 economic investment incentive for a new 155,000-square-foot manufacturing facility.
About the project
Technofil USA—a metallic wire manufacturer—is expected to invest $22 million into constructing their two-building facility, said Stephanie Smith, Lake Houston Partnership’s chief economic development officer, during the April 22 City Council Meeting. The manufacturing facility is expected to bring 160 new jobs, and the company has plans to commit to a 10-year lease of the property, she added.
The facility will be located at the Port North 59 Industrial Park, which is located on Rankin Road in Humble, Smith said.
