1. Kingwood Kabaret
Visit Lone Star College-Kingwood to watch the theater department’s production of “Kingwood Kabaret: The Journey.” Singers from campus and around the community will entertain audience members with Broadway show tunes, jazz and popular tunes. Organizers noted the event raises money for the college’s theatre scholarship fund.
2. Derby Dreams Gala
Hosted by Lake Houston Outreach, this Kentucky Derby-themed gala will feature virtual horse races, food, drinks and raffles.
3. 'The Magic Tree House'
Visit the Charles Bender Performing Arts Center to see a showing of "The Magic Treehouse: Dinosaurs Before Dark and The Knight at Dawn." The show will be based on Mary Pope Osborne’s fantasy stories of the same name.

4. Median Madness
Join the Houston Parks and Recreation Department and representatives from District E for a community cleanup event in Kingwood. Volunteers will help remove trash and trim underbrush at the Trailwood Village median near Kingwood Drive and Trailwood Village Drive. Volunteers are advised to bring water, gloves and closed-toe shoes. All ages are welcome, but attendees under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
