A closer look
For the 2025-26 school year, the breaks will fall on the following dates:
- October break: Oct. 12-16
- Thanksgiving break: Nov. 23-27
- Winter break: Dec. 21, 2026-Jan. 1, 2027
- February break: Feb. 8-12, 2027
- Spring break: March 15-19, 2027
Additional student holidays include:
- Labor Day: Sept. 7
- Staff workday: Nov. 3
- Martin Luther King Jr. Day: Jan. 18, 2027
- Good Friday: March 26, 2027
- Memorial Day: May 31, 2027
Officials noted elementary students will have additional holidays on:
- Sept. 28
- Feb. 15, 2027
- May 21, 2027
In the case of school closures due to weather, officials said make-up days would be held Feb. 8-9.
